The week of Innovation, Science and Technology in Novi Sad
September 21-24, 2010

In the framework of the Joint Declaration in force between the Italian Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia and the Serbian Autonomous Province of Vojvodina signed in 2009, the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia promotes the initiative “Innoweek - The week of Innovation, Science and Technology" – to be held from Sep. 21st to Sept. 24th , 2010, in Novi Sad (Vojvodina).
The general objective of the project is to favour and consolidate the cooperation between the two regions in the sectors of scientific and technological development , establishing permanent relations among scientific, institutional and economic sistems of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Vojvodina territories.
In particular, is foreseen the organization of thematic working tables where a number of actors from the Friuli Venezia Giulia innovation system will present themselves to potential partners in Vojvodina and it will be activated new knowledge exchange and cooperation channels capable of rising a long-term strategic partnership between the two geographical areas.
The participation is free of charge.




La settimana dell’innovazione, Scienza e Tecnologia a Novi Sad

Nell'ambito della Dichiarazione Congiunta siglata dalla Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia e dalla Provincia Autonoma della Vojvodina nel 2009, viene promosso il progetto “Settimana dell'Innovazione, della Scienza e della Tecnologia a Novi Sad”, che avrà luogo dal 21 al 24 settembre 2010.
L'obiettivo del progetto INNOWEEK è di favorire e consolidare la cooperazione interregionale nei settori dell'innovazione, della ricerca e dello sviluppo tecnologico ed imprenditoriale , stabilendo relazioni stabili e durature tra i sistemi istituzionali ed economici del territorio del Friuli Venezia Giulia e della Vojvodina (Serbia).
In particolare, è prevista la realizzazione di vari tavoli di lavoro e momenti di incontro pubblici tra il sistema della ricerca scientifica, dell'innovazione e dello sviluppo tecnologico del Friuli Venezia Giulia con gli attori della ricerca e dello sviluppo operanti in Vojvodina , con l'obiettivo di creare ed attivare progettualità congiunte nel settore scientifico e dell'innovazione ed in quello della cooperazione territoriale.

 

 

 

It is foreseen the creation of four bilateral Working Tables that will gather research centers, enterprises and institutions to debate around the following topics:

  • Energy efficiency and new energy sources
  • ICT for mobility, logistics and domotics.
  • New technologies (included biotech) applied to the agro food sector
  • New technologies (included biotech) applied to the healthcare sector

The new energy future will need diverse energy sources to meet rising demand. Managing emissions and better energy use will help safeguard the environment and conserve resources. New energy sources and getting more from existing resources will secure energy for decades to come.

New technologies applied to agriculture and food processing, biotechnologies for agro-food and healthcare, bio-medicine, genetic engineering are some of the most promising fields in applied research today. ‘Green biotech' is biotechnology applied to agricultural processes, ‘red biotech' is biotechnology applied to medical processes.
